About Us

We are Noé and Bethany Kasali, we met in the DR Congo in 2008, where we were both serving. We were working with the Christian Bilingual University of Congo (www.UCBC.org, www.congoinitiative.org). Noé was serving as HR manager, he taught psychology courses, and managed the student Work Program. Bethany was serving as the International Staff coordinator, and taught an advanced English course.

After serving together at UCBC for four years, we got married! We were married in eastern DR Congo, in March of 2012.

Our life changed even more when our daughter Joy, was born in Beni in May of 2013. She is a sweet little girl, and she is teaching us a lot, every day!

And we saw more changes when we moved from Congo to Wheaton, Illinois, for Noé to begin a Counseling MA degree. He has just graduated by the grace of God, and we are transitioning into the next page in our life.

Our second daughter Anna was born in Wisconsin, in January of 2015. She is a happy addition to our family!

We are now preparing to go back to eastern Congo, where we will continue contributing to the growth of UCBC, but also where we will begin a counseling ministry in the community. This will be something new in the region, and we know it is something that God is calling us to do.
